This privacy policy describes how SIA "Animas" (hereinafter - "We", "Controller" or "Company 360") collects, processes and protects your personal data when you use our website company360.lv (hereinafter - "Platform").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring fair and transparent data processing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

2. What Data We Collect?

We process two types of data: (A) data you provide to us, and (B) data collected automatically.

A. Data You Provide When Registering

To provide access to extended analytics, we ask you to create a user profile.

Registration with Email: Name, Surname, Email Address, Password (stored encrypted).
Registration with Google or LinkedIn: If you choose "Sign in with Google/LinkedIn", we receive your name, surname, email address and profile picture from the respective service provider.

Important: We do not receive or store your Google or LinkedIn passwords.

B. Automatically Collected Data (Cookies and Logs)

When you visit the Platform, we automatically record technical information:

IP address and device type;
Browser version;
Number of companies and persons viewed (see section "Free View Limit").

3. For What Purpose and On What Basis Do We Process Data?

4. Publicly Available Data

The Company 360 platform collects, structures and analyzes publicly available data on legal entities and their officials from public registers (e.g., Enterprise Register, SRS). The processing of this data is carried out in the public interest (for journalistic and research purposes) to promote transparency of the business environment in accordance with Article 85 of the GDPR and the recommendations of the Data State Inspectorate on the re-use of public register data.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to improve user experience and ensure functionality.

Necessary Cookies:

token / session: Necessary for you to stay logged in.
c360_free_views: Used to count free views (up to 5 times a month) for unregistered users. Without this cookie, we cannot provide the "trial" version.
c360_cookie_consent: Saves your choice regarding cookie usage.

Analytics Cookies (Optional):

We may use third-party tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how users use the page. These cookies are activated only with your consent.

You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings or by using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.

6. Data Transfer to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be transferred only to trusted service providers who help ensure the operation of the Platform:

Server Maintenance: Railway, AWS (data storage in EU/EEA territory or with appropriate security certificates).
Authentication & Marketing: Google, LinkedIn and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (only if your consent is given).
Law Enforcement Agencies: Only in cases where required by law.

7. Data Retention Period

User Profile: Stored as long as you do not delete your account. Upon deletion request, data is permanently deleted within 30 days (except for data that must be kept for accounting purposes if purchases have been made).
Unregistered User Counter: The c360_free_views cookie is stored on your device for 30 days from the last visit.

8. Your Rights

According to the GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal data (that we hold about you).
Correct inaccurate data (in profile settings).
Delete your data ("Right to be forgotten").
Object to data processing or restrict it.
Transfer data (receive your data in a structured format).

9. Data Security

We use modern technical solutions to protect your data:

All data is transmitted using SSL encryption (HTTPS).
Passwords in the database are stored only as hashes (encrypted codes), we do not see them in text form.
Access to databases is restricted to authorized employees only.

We reserve the right to update this policy. Significant changes will be notified to registered users by email or by a notification on the site.
